Niegoszcz

Flowing with milk and honey.

The Mielno Municipality is fantastically located. Although almost everything here is situated by the sea, or by the lake there is one notable exception, however. It is called Niegoszcz.

It is the only place in the municipality where you cannot see the Baltic from the windows. However, it is so close to the sea that it can still be an attractive place to stay and can make a great place for setting off to explore the whole region.

In Mielno, it is often said that Niegoszcz is a land flowing with milk and honey. Why? Because there are agricultural holdings active in the production of milk and meat, as well as in the cultivation of cereals and oilseed rape.

The village, whose name often proves difficult to pronounce, especially for guests coming from abroad, is located south of the road leading to Chłopy and Sarbinowo. It is characterized by scattered housing and can offer holidaymakers agritourism accommodation as well as beds in guest houses.

Do not let the term agritourism mislead you. In the case of Niegoszcz, this does not imply Spartan living conditions. It should be enough to mention that heated swimming pools are not uncommon amongst the recreation areas on offer here.

However, for the holidaymakers who come here, the beautiful scenery is equally important. Here you will encounter wide green zones surrounding every farm, undisturbed peace and quiet and, of course, the great hospitality of the residents. There are not many of them; according to the latest data, there are about 100 people residing in Niegoszcz. There is no better guarantee of peace and quiet during your summer holiday.

All of this has resulted in more and more tourists coming here each year, and the village slowly transforming from a place of agriculture, into a place of holiday relaxation.
